Stayed there for one night (12-13 Nov) at deluxe room. Told the receptionist that I wanted a non-smoking room, but got smoking room instead. The room smelled of smoke the whole night, which made my night unbearable to say the least. Tried to called the receptionist 3 times about this problem and the only solution they can give was to spray the room with air freshener. I also asked to be moved, but declined. Tried to double checked if my room is indeed a non-smoking room as per my order, and said that it was (which is not true, since the check out receptionist said it was a smoking-room). A piece of advice, "be more professional, and be truthful to your customer".

very BAD service in the ATTITUDE. when I want to ask for help to help take photos. at the reception desk there were 3 (three) hotel employees, namely 2 (two) front desk agents and 1 free clothing. 1 front desk agent looks busy serving the telephone, one is busy working on something on the computer screen. of course one employee who is dressed free doesn't do something. see me call him. but did not immediately serve me who needed help, but just saw it and told people next to it to help me. I immediately asked the employee. what person is dressed freely in what position? because that person uses nametag from the hotel sparks life. I asked what position the person was in? FO supervisor or FOM. turns out to be SALES MANAGER. extraordinary with the position of sales manager but DOES NOT HAVE A SOUL TO SERVE THE GUEST. deliciously telling subordinates who are doing work. I, as a hotel worker, was also in management which was quite well known in Indonesia with my position as Human Resources Manager. judge that the person is NOT WORTH WORKING as a HOTELIER. The sales manager's attitude is VERY EMBARRASSING.

I have reviewed this hotel previously, and am more than happy to recommend it. It is reasonably priced and rooms are very decent. I am looking forward to the hotel continuing to improve on some amenities, especially having electrical sockets by the bedside to facilitate charging of mobile devices. While there is a swimming pool, the inclusion of a gym would be great. The staff are friendly and courteous, and I will not hesitate to book Sparks again for my next trip to Jakarta.

Beside of busy traffic. Just walk away to a lot of restaurant (kfc, nasi padang,starbucks), 24hrs mart, lokasari mall, pub & disco,Spa, KRL commuter station. Easy to get public transport (bajaj, angkot, taxi, gojek, grab, train). The area is also safe for foreigner. This is my 9th times check in here. Room is not to big. Breakfast is bad. Not much choice. Staff is very friendly. Pool was good.
